Insurance + Payment

We use an equity-based fee model for our services. What this means is that we work hard to ensure people with the fewest resources pay the least to receive care. This isn’t always possible in a world where insurance companies have a lot of control over how therapists provide and are paid for our work, but we try! To this end, we try to maintain a majority of clients on our caseload who might have a hard time getting the right care — either due to financial need or other resource issues, or because of navigating more complex, long-term issues, or a past history of not feeling helped by therapy.

Our sliding scale offerings fluctuate depending on each clinician’s availability what we can afford to commit to at a given time, and what the specific needs are of a given client. The TLDR is this: If we’re a good fit, we’ll try hard to accommodate your budget. You probably won’t pay the same amount as everybody else we work with, and a lot goes into that; but mainly our capacity to accommodate you, and your budget.

Both Jayelin and lance are paneled with an ever-growing list of insurance companies, and are always open to a conversation about adding more, if someone is a great fit, but we are out of network with your insurance plan. Heads up, though, that sometimes this can take a long time, or companies can tell a provider “no” without any obligation to explain.

Here’s the list of insurances that lance and Jayelin currently accept.
